Pro Touch Beauty Academy

Pro Touch Beauty Academy is an established permanent makeup (PMU) training academy in Eastbourne, accredited by the Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). Its courses cover brows, lip blush and eyeliner, from beginner qualifications to 1-to-1 advanced masterclasses, with beginner courses taught to a maximum of two students at a time.

Pro Touch Beauty Academy needed more than an online course list. Their training runs in three stages — online theory, then in-salon practical days, then supervised case studies — and the platform had to support every one of them.

We built a full learning management platform from the ground up — custom-engineered, not assembled from off-the-shelf LMS plugins — with AI woven through the student experience rather than bolted on. Learners get self-paced online theory modules ahead of their practical days, scored quiz assessments at every stage with instant AI feedback, an AI tutor they can ask anything at any hour, and ABT-accredited digital certificates on completion.

HeyGen-powered AI presenters turn written lessons into delivered video, so the academy can update course content without re-filming. Between training days, one dashboard brings together the tutor chat, module content, practice quizzes and case-study tracking.

The public website introduces the academy and its courses: the platform’s features, the three-stage journey from enrolment to qualified artist, the full brow, lip and liner and advanced course range with prices and inclusions, and the lead trainer’s profile. It’s a Next.js application hosted on Vercel, with the student area behind its own login.

WebWork Software built a platform that brings online theory, assessments, tutor support and case-study tracking into the academy’s learning journey. Learners can work through theory material before practical training and access feedback and support within the platform.

The public website introduces the courses and the stages from enrolment through practical work and qualification. AI-presenter videos provide another way for the academy to prepare lesson material.
